There will be a commemoration in Earlswood Village Hall on Saturday the 8th of June for the commencement of D-Day, which was part of Operation Overlord, which signalled the start of the end of WW2.
EVH would like to take this opportunity to thank The Parish Council, Earlswood & Forshaw Heath Residents’ Association and Earlswood Village Museum for their contributions towards this event.
Come along and join in the commemoration at the Village Hall from 2.30pm for a complimentary glass of fizz (or soft drink) and some tea/coffee and cakes – plus, perhaps, a sing-song! The bar will also be open for the duration selling further liquid refreshments!
There will be entertainment appropriate to the occasion throughout the afternoon and the Museum will be open.
